Knotted Rope Winery
A small-batch winery on Lukfata Trail Road in Hochatown, Knotted Rope skips barrel aging to preserve the natural character of the grape, setting its wines apart from most of what’s available in the area.
The resulting wines are lighter and fresher than traditional oak-influenced styles, with sweet and dry options in red and white. The Peach Chardonnay and sweet red blends have developed a loyal following among repeat visitors. Tastings are relaxed and informal, more like visiting a working winery than attending a formal flight.

Situated just across from the main entrance to Beavers Bend State Park, Fish Tales Winery is a tasting room and bistro built around Muscadine grapes grown in the Ouachita foothills.
