Our Story

Born From a Love of Hospitality

We are Stacy and Nick Parkelj, a married couple from Frisco, TX who turned a love of hospitality and vacation rentals into a business. Stacy’s journey started in 2006 with a cabin in Winter Park, CO. She built processes to self-manage from afar and ran it successfully for five years. Nick spent 25+ years in hospitality, including time on cruise ships where he developed his eye for detail and guest service.

In 2020, we purchased a home in Hochatown, OK (Broken Bow) and quickly earned both Airbnb Superhost and Vrbo Premier Host status. Other owners in the area got wind of the great reviews we were getting and started asking us to host their cabins too. Of course, we said yes.

Today, we manage a growing portfolio of luxury cabins in Broken Bow and Hochatown and are expanding into Frisco, TX. We serve property owners through our co-hosting model and coach new hosts nationwide through the STaRt Smart Academy. We are a small boutique co-hosting company and we pride ourselves on being available to our guests and our owners.

Stacy Parkelj

Founder
Stacy got into vacation rentals in 2006 with a cabin in Winter Park, CO and built the self-management systems that let her run it from North Texas. She travels for work and takes note of the small touches that make a stay memorable, then brings those details back to every property she manages.

Nick Parkelj

Co-founder & Head of Operations
Nick grew up in Slovenia, where mountains and forests are never more than 45 minutes away. He spent 25+ years in hospitality, including time as a deck supervisor and assistant maître d’ on cruise ships. That background gave him an eye for detail and a knack for making people feel at home.
