Hochatown Saloon
Part family restaurant and part honky-tonk dance hall, the Hochatown Saloon is the
closest thing the area has to a classic Western gathering place.
During the day it operates as an all-ages restaurant serving burgers, fried catfish, and a weekend breakfast menu with eggs, omelets, French toast, and pancakes. By evening the energy shifts considerably. Live music and a dance floor take over on Fridays and Saturdays, and the venue transitions to 21+ after 9 PM. The saloon regularly books regional country and roots acts, with tickets available through their website.
Directly across the street sits Scotty Dogg’s Hideout, the saloon’s affiliated whiskey, bourbon, and cigar bar, offering a quieter option for those who’d rather sip slowly than dance. The two venues together make Old Hochatown Road one of the better nightlife stretches in the region.
