Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Tap Room

The Dead Head-themed pizza joint is one of the most talked-about restaurants in Hochatown, drawing long lines and loyal fans from across the region.

Built around a Grateful Dead aesthetic, the restaurant serves handmade deep-dish and specialty pizzas with creative toppings not found anywhere else in southeastern Oklahoma. The taproom pours a rotating selection of domestic, premium, and local craft beers, making it an easy place to settle in for a long meal. Live music fills the outdoor beer garden on weekends.

Next to the restaurant is the Grateful Head Shoppe, where you can pick up cigars, fine foods, and souvenirs. Reservations aren’t taken, so arriving early is strongly recommended. Waits of an hour or more are common on busy weekends.
